Kidderminster Bound? Good Show – Its WingCo’s Recce
Kidderminster Harriers confront us next, the first of four missions don’t you know, but incredibly we will be back to do the same job all over again next week, but, against a different foe apparently. By Jove its like working with the Italians (they changed sides in WWII), a chap can get confused which side is which, but any way here are the prices directions, ground guide as ever and you all know the mission!

Kidderminster Harriers will be a tough nut to crack for the Imps, although I would like to point out the flying foe are in fact named after birds of prey rather than the Jump Jet variety that a couple of the chaps have flown in at Bomber HQ. We all have to start somewhere, of course, I myself started on Camels, then Spitfires before then moving onto dropping the more serious bouncing pay-loads for a living. Nowadays I have to make do with 9-5 behind a Mahogany Spitfire (that’s a desk to those Imps from Civvy street) due to the advances of time and gout. Mind you all bought and paid for what! what! Safe journey as always and try to bring at least a point back with you.

Nuneaton Bound? Zero Police Tolerance But 400+ Plan Peaceful Impvasion
The Nuneaton game will be a heavily policed affair, although at £12 and £3 for under 16’s it should be a good day out on a covered terrace with a £2 transfer charge for those who fancy seating. The Wingco and Bomber HQ believe 400-500 Imps are set to travel.
WingCo will keep it brief this week

Hereford Bound – Good Show its WingCos Recce
Hereford United looks like being another long and arduous trip for the chaps, for those mad enough to go safe flying and well played Personally it will be a spot of billiards in the mess, then feet up on the old mahoganny spitfire, port in hand with BBC’s Sportin’ Hortin filling the airwaves at Bomber HQ.
Wair-hair- lair & thanks awfully for reading Winco’s Recce
Thanks awfully to Binky this week – if you can understand the mad cad – this bally good goalkeeper saved every single one of his bouncing bombs. Fear not Farman old been you’re still the man for the job, for heavens sake this chap’s a hun!

Luton Town Bound? Good Show its WingCo’s Recce
With the Luton Town dawn raid almost upon us STMI has sneaked into the mess to ask the Wing Commander at Imp Bomber command for a detailed plan of action. With Bogeys at 3 O’clock on Saturday and, a jolly long mission to boot, best get chocks away early again. Sad to hear the team will be travelling on the day again (can you help here) For those in a hurry the ground guide and ticket prices come after our raconteur Wingco’s take on things (we have also put a key at the bottom for those not well up on our county heritage) but he is well worth listening to and very much part of the Lincolnshire furniture.

Looks like another of those What’s The Odds jobs what what with a tough mission on the cards. Some of the chaps who flew last season will of course not be with us due to the ongoing Jankers, so be prepared for a tad more activity from the Snowdrops above the norm. Splendid turn out last week – 574 left and 574 returned safely. The Old man said it was a better result than Dresden!
Thanks again this week to the old man (should pension him off really, poor chap limps like he’s chewing a Callard and Byser creamyline toffee with his arse) who kindly took time out from the old mahogany spitfire to fly the Shuftie Kite with the fairies. Good man!
As the sun is ite and the sky is blue any WAAFs will still be able to wear twylights. Thanks awfully to the young lady who sent me a pair complete with name rank and serial number-by Jove if I were but half a century younger! Greens are not mandatory as the old red and white stripes still bring a tear to the eye. Perhaps spats for the officers and full number ones as these gentlemen could well be sporting top hats. Toodle pip!

Barnet Bound? Good Show! It’s Winco’s Recce
Scramble chaps & chapesses, Bogey’s, well the Bees of Barnet FC are at 3 o’clock on Saturday. With another long and dangerous daylight mission ‘deep dine sithe’ we’d best get chocks away early though because there are Bees all Over our birds. According to the Snowdrops (RAF Police) over 300 could travel again.
Wair-hair- lair & thanks awfully for reading Winco’s Recce………………….
Looks like another of those What’s The Odds jobs, so good luck to the rear gunners because these Bees went for a Burton last week just like our chaps. Come back with a point and HRH herself will be dishing out the fruit salad upon the heroes return. Talking of which those who have served on tour so far this season Good Man Gongs and trebles all round. As the sun is ite and the sky is blue any WAAFs will be able to wear twylights and Greens aren’t mandatory as the old red and white striped still bring a tear to the eye. Thanks this week to the old man ( should pension him off really, wears false teeth and when he chews a ginger nut biscuit he sounds like 60 chaps on jankers marching on gravel) who kindly took time out from the old mahogany spitfire to fly the Shuftie Kite with the fairies. Their bravery brings you the Pukka Gen to ensure a safe journey there and back. Fly drive/ safely and don’t try to land at RAF Uxbridge as they have no runway – I know about as useful as breasts on a fish what! what!

Hello chaps & chapesses, with Bogey’s at 3 o’clock again on Saturday, it looks like another dangerous daylight mission ‘deep dine sithe’ with chocks away for some of you from 07:00 this Saturday. As the breadbasket of Britain makes for the garden of England stores basher advises all ranks to avoid the Oast houses – anything in there is strictly off limits, even to the Brass hats. The beers not ready in there (arf! arf!) and it will only get your tummy rumbling. Anyone caught doing so will be on Bull Night for the foreseeable.
The Groupie gave the area a quick ‘buzz’ to ensure everyone arrives safely and knows the gen even if he did have to bang out himself on the way home. Pleased to say he left his Fairies (minus parachutes) in the drink when he ditched. The dress code will as ever be smart casual for officers with best blues / greens / football shirts and banners apparently a must for the ranks. Navy-blue winter-weights for the ladies please, we want the chaps on the field to put on a show and not the WAAF Imps.
Good show and all the best to the 11 chaps who will as ever do their bit for Impdom and St George! Our hopes as ever are for the safe return of one and all be you in the 617 squadron or not. Can’t join you this weekend as I am piled high with bumph… and like the Trust it is on a strictly need to know basis. My apologies to younger Imps and others in Civvy street who do not understand the Queens RAF English, therefore below the following more pertinent and concise information is a code breaker.
