So what are fans of Luton Town, Wrexham FC, Grimsby Town and Kidderminster – the title favouties-fans talking about? And let us not forget everyone else who share top spot ahead of the fixture release on July 3rd! The forums may get abuse, perhaps bordering on outlaw status (Luton Outlaws), but the passion, or should that be RedPassion and snippets are fantastic. In the case of Hereford its no bull from the Bulls News. Oh yes, the Conference fans forums are better entertainment than YouTube and Facebook put together
Thank-you for reading Neil Gentleman-Hobbs
Yes, Joyous July oh month of rumour, is upon us. The hyperbole amongst fans even exceeds that of the players and agents. So here are the direct links for you to sort the wheat from the chaff for yourself. The STMI table below links to every main forum in the Conference – and shows its good to dream, and in truth how half the football journalists get to glean.
We fans salivate with the transfer window now officially open (not that it has stopped deals in reality) and the Conference sides are also back in training and looking at free agent trialists, so what better time to have a look at the gossip from around the apex of non-League football, formally known as the BSP. Oh yes, the Conference fans forums are better entertainment than YouTube and Facebook put together. Let’s cut to the chase shall we?
Just click on a link to the left, to the respective club on the right. These are the Conference National clubs main fans forums, apologies if we have missed any – if we have comment with a link and we will add you. Please feel free to bookmark the link at the top of your browser (or add to favourites) and use it as the gateway to the gossip that makes the peoples game what it is.
Welcome to the Save the Mighty Imps & Lincoln City Banter Blue Square Premier preview for the 2012/13 season, complete with BSP Ground guide, BSP Match-day admission prices and of course all the BSP transfers and squad updates. A massive thanks has to go to all the fans who have visited since October and corrected any errors. Good luck and safe travel in life and, of course this season, to you all. Thanks for your comments they are priceless even if many are unprintable and would do more damage to a player than a 50/50 studs up challenge.

The Dragons Doge, Andy Morrell, has brought in just 3 thus far: Striker Brett Ormerod (Blackpool FC); Keeper Coughlin (Tranmere Rovers); plus defender Martin Riley (Kidderminster Harriers). With Pogba leaving for Crewe, Tolley to Mansfield Town and Knight-Purcival to Peterborough United, is this a case of ‘don’t mend what aint broke’ or a tit for tat policy based around balancing the books. Outgoing CEO Dave Roberts has left having made big progress, despite last seasons second placed side failing to go up, but you feel the three fees received will be used in part for Ormerod’s salary, but in the main to reduce the Dragons shortening annual deficit.

Gaffer Gary Hill has brought in 8 new faces: 3 strikers, Brett Williams (Reading) Bradley Bubb (Aldershot) & Loick Pires (Welling Utd); 2 midfielders, Lee Sawyer (Barnet) & Dean Sinclair (Lowestoft); plus 3 defenders, Mike Cestor (Orient), Brett Johnson (AFC Wimbledon) & Jack Parkingson (Welling Utd). The ex-Rushden boss is a canny operator and, although he is targeting survival, those loan links with Reading and Aldershot, both very local, suggest the clubs part-time status may serve as the perfect springboard to blood youngsters. The Royals hot-shot Williams and The Shots Bradley Bubb, have serious goalscoring pedigree at non-league level.
