LCFC Ticket Prices: Same? Simplification? Or Subtle Rise For Some?

The Lincoln City admission prices for 2013/14 are below, with a comparison to the previous season (including the old six-pack) also included.  Although there is no price increase on the face of things, a closer look reveals that LCFC will be getting an extra £2-£4 from those who sat in the Stacey West former Home End or Family Stand and, an extra three quid from those who have to pay for their prawns.  Remember The Home End has been closed and the Family Stand will be used for away supporters, who will extol the views no doubt.

The  club have effectively ensured  that match entry has been maximised, via a crass  ‘simplification’ announcement, where the defence of the need to maintain a bottom third budget would have been better PR.  An entry fee of £18 for 5th tier football is £6 less than Sheffield Wednesday charge (at the time of writing Forest and County have yet to confirm) and of consternation to many fans. The club have also kindly eliminated the early bird £2 discount per match, to ‘simplify’ things. Naturally fans can go into the small South Park Stand, its views are poor ensuring most will also elect to go into the Co-op priced at £18 as opposed to £16.  The Former T & R VIP club, now re-branded to the Starglaze VIP Club will see a price increase from £37 per game to £40. Naturally STMI would like to say more, but our continuing home game ban (including Supporters Trust AGM’s), due to daring to speak out, means we cannot say anything that could be deemed to be derogatory or go to games whatever price we would be prepared to pay.

Lincoln City FC Ticket Prices 2012/13

Lincoln City match-day admission and ticket prices are subject to a discount called “Early Bird”. For adults this means £2 off, whilst concessions and under 18’s enjoy £1 off.

Imps CityFLEXIPack Sees Bargains galore

Lincoln City CEO Steve Prescott is to be commended for weaving the new and flexible CityFLEXIPack  deal into the season ticket and Lincoln City match-day ticket pricing.  There is also an extension to the junior age bracket – now 18 – as well as students under the age of 22 (with a valid student photo ID) being charged at the concessionary rate.

Although match day admission prices for the 2012/13 season remain unchanged (see tables 2 & 3), this is a sensible move. The changes to the pricing structure see the extension of the junior age bracket to supporters under the age of 18 whilst a second change sees students under the age of 22 (with a valid student photo ID) being charged at the concessionary rate.
