Stats: Nuneaton 2 Lincoln 1 – Teams schemes & Table
Nuneaton beat Lincoln City as Liam Daish shows his managerial guile again. His first signing from Leicester, wideboy Adam Dawson delivered less than 12 hours after getting out of the taxi. A free-kick from Fowler is allowed to bounce four times, eluding every defender and Nuneaton player before trickling inside the far post with Dean claiming a touch as he is mobbed by Daish’s disciples. Fowler gets it though. The height advantage pay off again for the Imps as Newton floats a free-kick and Miller powers a downward header straight through the middle. A moment of real quality from the new Leicester loanee Andy Dawson. Newton fails to shadow and stop the cross come shot that flies over Townsend for a spectacular strike – a stunner all of thirty-five yards into the far top corner.

Stats & Table Welling United 1 Lincoln 0 Gallagher Grabs Glory
Welling United won this one with a strike from Gallagher, who thumped down the middle after finding himself unmarked on the edge of the box. But in truth the game could have gone either way with Lincoln failing to take their chances in the first half as the Imps stay 13th.

Stats Lincoln 3 Worcester 0 – Tomlinson Gets Tills Ringing At Bank
Worcester City’s resistance was undone by a headed brace from Tomlinson and a goal from Bohan Dixon, who converted a second cross of the night from Newton who celebrated a brace of assists. A simply massive win, it turns our season and set-up the chance of perhaps another £50,000 plus the chance of some TV cash to go with the £12,500 prize money and the receipts from two rather disappointing gates.

Kidderminster Harriers Michael Gash delivered two assists and a wonder goal to complete a miserable 1-4 defeat for the Imps yesterday. It his hard to give a man of the match performance to an Imp after that but Farman’s 8 saves edge it even though Nat Brown had a very solid game at the back.

Stats: Harriers 4 Imps 1 Gash & Storer Grab The Glory
Kidderminster hit the bar twice, got two 25-yard wonder goals from Gash and Storer and a tap in from Malbon to outclass the Imps. We did score twice, but alas Boyce’s was an own goal to more than cancel out a header from Wright after a peach of a ball from Fofana, peeled off the outside of his right boot. It was not to be against a side that will definitely be there or thereabouts this season, but it has to be said the Imps never gave up.

STMI Global Readers – Where Do You Live?
We may not be east Midlands giants Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, Derby County or the 2 Manchester Clubs but The Lincoln City family still spans the globe according to the latest mind numbing research of The Prof. That said the Nottingham, Leicester, Luton and Sheffield based readership does make up the top 6 UK locations along with Lincoln and Manchester, although STMI have featured stories involving their clubs and players as well as the Skrill Premier zone stuff so their vast respective supports will distort the figures nationally. Numerous Forest & Foxes fans surprisingly see Lincoln as their second team?
Thanks for reading the prof
Tasked with sorting the wheat from the chaff to ascertain where the Lincoln City readership inhabit I have come up with the following table. This relates to Lincoln stories (since February) although the regular readers from elsewhere in the Skrill Premiership may still distort things a little. It shows the international (potential) reach of the club, even though many will never get to games for one reason or another. To drill down into the UK any further would infect the data with non Imps stories.
