Sheridan Grafts & Crafts His Way To New Deal
Jake Sheridan has put the disappointment of Notts County and Tamworth rejection behind him, to earn a well deserved new deal at Lincoln City. Jake never lost the faith or his desire, even when he found himself back in factory work. He joined on a pay as you play non contract deal, earned a one year deal last year and a double bubble two year deal this.
After falling from favour at Notts County the midfielder spent a couple of seasons at Tamworth under Gary Mills. But new gaffer Marcus Law froze him out so Jake went part-time with Eastleigh. This lad personifies the virtues of hard graft. He has the determination at the training ground to keep honing his technique and the desire to pick himself up and earn the right to play on the pitch where it really matters. Jake, is a hard-working midfielder and a determined genuine soul who is making his dream come true. He even shared a loan spell at the Imps with minimum wage factory commitments prior to his permanent switch in January 2012. He is not overly blessed but he will give you 100% and has proved he has enough to make a living from the game at our level. Let us hope we see more of the creative side of your game Jake, that step over and eye for a shot or pass does you and us proud.
