Thanks for reading STMI

With Imps still scratching their eyes at our play-off form, well ten points from five games is certainly there or there abouts , the news that Delano Sam-Yorke is back is fantastic news.  Whether he will be ready to play tomorrow is another matter, but, with a tough 8-game programme on the horizon he will be needed.

Delano Sam-Yorke bagged 3 goals in 9 League games for the Imps last season, but having made just two starts this League 2 term Cambridge agreed to a loan after moves to League rivals York City and, Tranmere Rovers fell through.

Sam returned to Cambridge last season and went to to celebrate promotion and FAT trophy success. He bagged two against FC Halifax in the last but one game of last season.  Chairman Bob Dorian had vowed to break the bank for him, but a permanent deal had appeared to stall.

His pace power and skill thrills. Welcome back to the Bank Delano… Mmmm Sincil Salivates…………..
