Millwall Loan 124-goal wonderkid to Mad Dog for Experience!

As Barnet FC sign another striker – this Millwall sensation scored 124 goals last season – the poor Imps can be excused for feeling a little glum ahead of a must win against Macclesfield where our budget is but a fraction of the potential of the football club.  The Bees meanwhile will buzz even louder after hitting their second five of the season with Martin Allen continuing to be backed to the hilt to land Millwall and ex-Maidstone United terrifying teen Alfie Pavey.

Barnet scored another five last week, with recent Yeovil loan signing Hoskins pitching in with a debut super-sub strike. Now 18-year-old Millwall goal machine  Alfie Pavey  has also joined on 28-day youth loan. Hats off to the Bees, they are ambitious and flying. Indeed the Imps and Wrexham are the only sides to beat them this season and stop them scoring.

Speaking on the club’s official website, Pavey buzzed:

“I’m hoping to learn from some of the more experienced players and see if I can bring some of the qualities that they have in their game into mine. It should be a great experience for me playing against bigger, stronger players and working on my hold-up play.

“The first training session today went well. It is a nice little ground here and I’ve heard that they get a decent crowd, so hopefully I can get some game time and get myself on the scoresheet.”
