Woking V Imps Preview: Just the West Ham Winger & Luton Town Hot-shot to worry about then?
Woking FC under Gary Hill sit fourth and unbeaten with three wins and three draws. In Luton Town hot-shot Scott Rendell and Chesterfield FC striker Dean Morgan, West Ham wide boy Josh Payne, with Mansfield Town maestro Kieran Murtagh pulling the strings, they are a potent force coming forward. So plenty to get the London Premiership and Championship fans down for a Non-League Day football fiesta then!
Thanks for reading STMI
The lethal trio have plundered eight goals in the last two outings beating Wrexham 2-1 and demolishing the white cliffs of Dover 6-1 – Sole naturally figured with two and Rendell got an awesome foursome with assists and back-slaps all round. They have a Newton too, although he did go off before the end at Wrexham, he has a throw to contend with. The Imps have been unlucky in the last three with red cards robbing us when the game looked to be going our way. We still got just the three points however leaving us down in 10th with Nat Brown missing this week. Hamza Bencherif is back of course, his three goals and all round presence and technique will be key tomorrow as will Tomlinson, afire with 3 goals in three games, the goal machine is born to score. Its still a bit too early for Miller, now back light training after a medial ligament injury, but Hamza in for Brown apart for the Imps and the Newton question mark apart, for them, both sides will be largely unchanged.
Murtagh is a class act in the middle and must be stopped if we are to get against a team that could peel an orange in their pocket without sharing a drop. Sam-Yorke, for the Imps, kept under wraps but likely to play a very big part tomorrow
