Fox-in-The-Box Adi Cure Could Be Massive For Imps.

Adi Yussuf’s Leicester City and Burton Albion career was wrecked by a mystery injury but thanks to Simmo taking a chance and an inventive specialist the Imps could be set to reap the rewards. Adi is now in a race against time for the Cambridge Utd & Wrexham  games over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Adi has the devastating pace and skill to go to the top. Three goals in pre-season saw him reborn and showing the sort of talent that shone at the Leicester City Youth Academy under the Direction of John Rudkin and ex-Imp Trevor Peake (Nicky Eaden is also there as a coach). Adi was even given a 3 year youth deal at the Foxes at just 16 and was a regular in the U18′s and reserves, before going on loan to Tamworth at just 17. It was of no surprise as his trademarks, explosive acceleration and power, see him get behind defences to lethal effect to bring the goal as well as the house down.

Alas that has been his downfall, with the mystery injury leading to an abundance of hamstring and other strain injuries.  Burton manager also Paul Peschisolido rated Adi highly enough to give him a one year deal after  an exciting pre-season, with the injury curtailing the early promise.  Simmo took a chance on a lad with undeniable ability and sent him to a specialist as soon as the problem re-occurred, ruling him out of our opening three games.  The good news is that the specialist has got to the bottom of things and Adi is now in a race against time to play against either Cambridge tomorrow or Wrexham on Monday.

If the Specialist has found the cure this lad will be the signing of the season – and he has some competition at the Imps –  and go on to terrorise the Skrill Premier. He was that good at 16 and he is better now boosted by desire and the chance to prove himself. Most outside of Leicester have only seen him playing within himself to protect the injury, but if he is free from it this lad will plunder. Then the gamble will have paid off and Lincoln would be wise to sign him up for a longer period, than the year plus an option should he make enough appearances.

The Manager is on record as saying he will not stand in any player’s way and the vultures will be sure to circle once Adi gets into his stride.

Good luck Adi!
