3,000 Against Rovers? Will You be there For £10?

With Forest Green Rovers set to bring as many as 200 fans, The Imps should break the 3,000 barrier on Saturday.  That will be 600 up on the encouraging Tuesday crowd that witnessed a hard earned 1-0 win over Macclesfield Town. With almost 400 travelling to Woking on opening day the fantastic support is responding to the Imps best start in 6 years.

 The oracle of optimism chimes.

Due to the ongoing ban we still cannot be at the game, but we urge as many Imps as possible to be at fortress Sincil Bank tomorrow. Keep a clean sheet against 8 goal Forest Green Rovers and we can certainly start to put some faith in those emerging play-off credentials. Losing would not be the end of the world but a 1-0 win, even if it is a smash and grab, will spread like wild fire and continue the momentum.

After FGR comes Cambridge away, a very very difficult fixture, then a home Bank Holiday Monday fixture against Wrexham who will bring a few.  If the results go well the Imps could be pushing 3500-4,000 and matching the fishy foe. Then perhaps BT and co may start getting the Mighty Imps out to an even bigger audience.

Try to be there Saturday, because every turnstile click and passionate cheer counts. If you are struggling, as many are, you could get into games at Sincil Bank for less than half price – and be sitting in the Lincolnshire Co-Operative Stand to boot.
