Janos was an absolute legend at the Spireites and the Imps, indeed the Chesterfield fans even applauded his towering header that won us a derby game following his transfer to us.  He just had to play for Hereford, the veritable Bull in a china shop personified.  Janos then deservedly made the Conference team of the year 2011/12 during his Hatters days. You could go on all day about his heroic deeds, more than sometimes in the absence of ability. But he endeared fans and his song hereabouts was mark of the popularity and stature of the man who was strong, brave and brutal in either box, in the words of that song……….

His name is Janos,

Janos Kovacs,

He is mental he is mad

He is the finest
