Bank Beast Boyce Ban Blow

The 66th minute yellow card against Luton Town will see Imp warrior Andrew Boyce miss the vital Tamworth match on Saturday and the final game of the season at Hyde on Saturday.

Andrew is said to be devastated that he cannot finish the mission after a brave season, epitomised by fantastic performance in both boxes.  It was indiscipline, due to an altercation with the canny Lawless, that saw him react to the latter’s poor challenge on one of his team-mates.  A shame but one of those things. It is a learning curve and handy Andy has been an integral part of our great March form. One that ensures the Imps remain very much in with a chance of staying up this season. He is young and he will bounce back, if we fans can help fill the void and take up the slack.

The yellow sees him reach 10 cautions for the season, which means an automatic two match ban. Our thoughts are with you Boycie – see you next season, when you will hopefully play your part in a glorious season.
