Tamworth Game Is Key – Do We Man Our £10 Battle Stations Imps

Saturday’s final home game of the season against Tamworth is pivotal for the future of Impdom.  Whatever the result against Luton tomorrow, this has been prophesied as the one where the Imps hordes push us over the line and put another annus horribilis  to bed. Win this and we can kick on next season. Lose this and the trip to Hyde will be tough. Charge a tenner Bob and 5-7,000 could be tempted. Win it and the bonhomie will carry into season ticket sales next year to fund a budget to build a team to make us proud.

Simmo’s Six foot Soldiers have taken massive strides to get sufficient points on the board ahead of a really tough April. Few were expecting points away at Kidderminster and Luton, even though the side will scrap until the whistle irrespective of opposition. Our brave Imps fear no side. But the game that can and will get us over the line will be Tamworth, who will be tired from Thursday night. A big crowd at the bank will surely sap the strength of the Lambs and fire us to glory.
