Striker Returns To Strengthen Imps
The Imps are set to welcome back our steal from steel, as ex- Sheffield Wednesday striker, Vadaine Oliver, returns for tomorrows game at Braintree Town, after a three match ban for violent conduct. Vadaine’s addition up front, alongside in-form Jamie Taylor, will be vital as the Imps go in search of another 3 point haul in our quest to achieve BSP safety. Keep the faith – one drum-one-voice-one passion
His 81st minute altercation with, Southport centre-half Neill Byrne, where he was pushed into the advertising hoardings, meant the sharp-eyed sharp-shooting ex-owl missed the Wrexham, Nuneaton and Telford games. This limited the Imps options at vital times as 21-year-old Vadaine had been shouldering a big responsibility as he led the line superbly up front. Thus far he has bagged 9 goals in a struggling side.
Save The Mighty Imps welcome back our contender for young player of the year. As an aside a big thanks to Sheffield Wednesday for the free tickets to the Owls V Blackburn game on 6/4 – we will be honoured to do a match report, we’ll call it the Leppings view in honour of the cause
