Lincoln City’s Challenge
Will a city stop on Saturday for the visit of Telford? Perhaps not, even though there will be a city centre march under the title Save The Mighty Imps. So perhaps the penny has finally dropped. Yet in reality this really is the defining moment for our beloved club. Win and we have a chance of staying up, giving Simmo the chance to regroup and plan for next season. Lose and our train-wreck of a football club will be in the Blue Square North. Who would have thought that half a decade ago? Come on Imps halt the slide, be there, show you care, help shoulder the Easter cross Simmo and the team must bare.
As usual our ban precludes us from being at the game, but a massive welcome to the travelling Bucks, thank you for reading the Form of the Foe courtesy of Neil Gentleman-Hobbs

The Bucks sit bottom, by virtue of goal difference whilst the Imps sit 21st. Now without a manager Stockport are in free-fall, so this has to be a win for us. Telford are 11 points adrift with just 6 games to play with a maximum of 18 points up for grabs. Little room for error on either side you feel.

Telford have not won in 25 attempts, their last win being a 4-1 away triumph at Dartford on October 9th. Telford had beaten Woking 1-0 on the previous Saturday, but despite a few draws the slide to rock bottom has seen the inevitable managerial sacking but little sign of a reverse. The Bucks have the worst home record in the League and the 20th worst on their travels. They have lost their last 5 away games and are bottom of the current form charts, overall, home and away. If the Imps cannot win this one, you have to feel, our worst fears look to be coming true.

Ryan has been heroic this season, a saint amongst the sinners of an overworked penalty box. He has made 217 saves, kept 8 clean sheets and managed to keep his goals conceded rate down to a rather credible one every 52 minutes.
