After Stags & Dragons Can Halifax Win See Imps Play-Off Charge Then?

The Imps performances against Mansfield and Wrexham mean we go into the FC Halifax game unbeaten in two.  Will the FA Cup game see the continuation or indeed start of runs that could change our season?

League Position

Optimistic perhaps, but the Imps are just 13 points off the final play-off position and, a further two points off second placed Wrexham, who we beat at the weekend.

The Imps Form

Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, as there is much damage to be undone, our October form sees us ranked 9th in the league and 8th over the last 5 games.  A victory over Stockport, who are 11th, could see us hit mid-table ahead of November with a degree of optimism. We host Braintree, travel to Barrow, host the Bulls (FA Cup permitting), before rounding things off with a trip to Southport.

Keeper corner – Paul Farman

Paul Farman has been magnificent thus far, keeping two clean sheets. His 66 saves,  have been inspirational, justifying STMI’s successful call for him to return to the England C set-up.  He is the best shot-stopper in the BSP with reactions that have seen 4 jaw-dropping double saves as well as a penalty save already this season. We can justifiably chant England’s number one as he runs out each week.
