Mansfield Focus – Holdsworth’s Haunting or Haunted Stag Party

On the plus side Mansfield Town  have not won in 3 games, including Saturday’s 1-4 reverse at Cambridge United.  The Stags home form is however good, but the away form is poor, putting big spending Boss Cox under almost as much pressure as David Holdsworth.  Injuries have seen the return of their calamitous early season defending, although Dempster is back from his Tamworth loan to cure some of the defensive woes. Exodus is out too as is Thompson.  Mazza has also been replaced by Shane Redmond, his suspected dislocated shoulder could keep him out for 3 months.  Another Ex Imp, Lee Beevers, will also have a point to prove. Then again ex-Stags Holdsworth  Smith etc etc would love to turn the haunted role into that of the haunting.

A big welcome to the Stags, thank you for reading the form of the Foe courtesy of Neil Gentleman-Hobbs & Prof Albeanz-Present
