Keith Alexander 1956 – 2010

It’s September 21st 2005, 90+ minutes have been played and Lincoln City are drawing 2 2 at Craven Cottage. Marvin Robinson is through on goal and hits it right footed, past the keeper, past the post and into the stand. The whistle blows within seconds and at once many Lincoln Fans say the same thing “If that was Yeo….”

The story of the game doesn’t start or end there though. Lincoln went away to a strong Fulham side featuring a host of premier league experienced players including, Liam Rosenior, Philippe Christanval, Collins John, Heider Helguson, Thomasz Radzinski, Alain Goma, Moritz Volz and Fulham Fan favourite Brian Mcbride between them these have played over 930 premier league and 200+ international games. Lincoln on the other hand had a side you could argue was the weakest of Keith’s 4 year reign.
