Imps Must Hammer Alfreton At Last Chance Sincil Saloon

Alfreton come to Sincil Bank fresh from a 5-1 hiding at Dartford.  Keeper Barnes was dropped for that one after conceding three, three times in his first five games with no clean sheets. But Stewart, on loan from Burnley faired no better.   This is a six-pointer for both sides, even if it is early in the season. The Imps, despite the propaganda talk are in crisis with just 1647 fans for a Saturday game suggesting time and faith are fast running out. The Reds keystone cops defending has to stop if 4 goal Clayton’s endeavours are going to add to a recent 3-1 win over Barrow.
