Imps Sign French Midfielder.

With Mark McCammon’s no 37 shirt still warm, David Holdsworth has handed it to 24 year-old defensive midfielder Mamadou Fofana, who has been on trial at the Imps for 3 weeks.  The deal will run until 2nd January 2013.

STMI wish Mamadouall the best and apolgise for being unable to provide our normal STMI biopic as there is so little known about the lad.  He can operate either as a holding midfielder or as a central defender and has played for CS Sedan, Olympique Noisy-le-Sec and La Vitréenne FC in France before joining Swedish outfit Syrianska FC.

Mamadou will not be available for selection until international clearance has been granted so perhaps young Gouveia may get a chance. David Holdsworth looked jubilant in the picture on the official site –  and so he should as he is now just 5 short of his half century for the Imps.
