Jamie Taylor Can Be 20 Goal Imp

Jamie Taylor looks set to continue his scoring run against Macclesfield Town this Saturday, after a blistering start to the season. Jamie has notched two goals in his first three games, but his all round game has seen the prolific non-league marksman back to his very best. For your Uncle Vic he looks to be our first 20 goal man since Yeo (21) and as every game passes he looks more and more like Jamie Forester…… ohhhhh Jamie Jamie…………

Vic Erzantarz talks through the bottom of a glass of Pimms and judging by the picture below Sincil’s super striker also likes a sherbet or two.

JT is such an exciting player and always wants to be at the centre of things.  Goals are a strikers stock-in-trade, but it is off the ball where he has been truly magnificent in the opening three games.  When hwe have been under the cosh he has been continually looking to press the defence and even to come looking for the ball, where many would wait all day for it to come to them. In true Imp tradition he seems so is eager to punch above his weight.

Forwards are confidence players big time, so a scoring run is a habit he will want to see continue, as will we. So let’s will him on this Saturday and just maybe he can go one better and get his first brace of the season. A win against Macc and a decent result away at Gateshead could really set him up for six of the best in September plus the live one away at Forest Green. You would have to fancy a fit and on-form JT to bag a few from these.
