Macclesfield Town in Focus

New manager King has cleared the decks bringing in 14 :  7 midfielders –  Henry &  Kissock (both Luton Town),  Winn (Stevenage), Agombar (Grays) Costa (Dulwich),Yiadom (St Neots) plus Kieran Murtagh & Euloge Ahodikpe ;  4 defenders –  Braham-Barrett (Peterborough) Jackson (Wimbledon) Mackreth (Barrow)  Charnock (Fleetwood on loan); as well as keeper Cronin (Bristol Rovers) and striker Barnes-Homer (Ostersunds FK).  That’s 12 permanent deals and two loans in what has to be seen as a massive punt to get them back at the firast time of asking. Then again once the TV and transfer money has run out there would need to be a big readjustment if it all went pear shaped.
