Who are Leeds Reserves Will Hatfield & Sanchez Payne
David Holdsworth is running the rule over two central midfielders from Leeds United Reserves. Will Hatfield is the combative, clever captain of the pair who has already had spells at York City and Accrington Stanley FC. Sanchez Payne is a very skilful lad indeed who can play in midfield as well as up front.

Sanchez, 18 in January, is the more creative of the two with a quick eye and quick feet, although he is not easily knocked off the ball despite playing against much older fringe first teamers as well as the cream of young footballers in the Premier Academy League. Sanchez is a local lad, joining as a 12-year-old, who has risen through the ranks to be rewarded with his first pro deal in 2010. He scored twice in 23 appearances for the under-18s in the 2009/10 season and netted his first goal at reserve level at Bradford City in October 2009.

Will is the more likely of the two to sign. He is the Leeds reserve Captain and has experience in both League 2 and the BSP, albeit 4 outings in both. A loan deal at York last January saw 1 start and 3 substitute appearances, before Will returned to captain the Leeds reserves side that clinched the league title last year.
A busy fortnight in October saw Will join Accrington on an emergency loan. He followed solid performances against Swindon and Cheltenham with consecutive yellow cards against Shrewsbury and Crawley Town. Accy extended the loan until December but the youngster, who has so far chosen football over cricket, never got a look in.
Think Scott Kerr with a better range of passing but the two both clearly share that same never say die Yorkie spirit.

Lets hope you help us out by turning one or both of these two in to top class players like you helped to mould Somma in to the player he became
Somma-time and the scoring was easy……..
His goals saved our league status, his style saved Sincil Bank’s sanity.
